NASCON Allied Industries Plc has announced a resilient financial performance for the six months ended 30 June 2026, delivering strong profit growth despite a challenging operating environment.

The company recorded revenue of ₦81.2 billion, representing a 4% increase compared with the corresponding period of 2025. Profit before tax rose significantly by 28% to ₦29.7 billion, while profit after tax increased by 26% to ₦19.6 billion, underlining the company’s ability to convert steady topline growth into stronger earnings.

Gross profit grew by 9% to ₦40.8 billion, with gross margin improving to 50% from 48% in the prior year period. EBITDA also increased by 6% to ₦24.1 billion, while EBITDA margin stood at 30%, reflecting sustained focus on operational efficiency, cost optimisation and disciplined margin management.

Earnings per share rose by 26% to ₦14.51, reinforcing the quality of the company’s earnings and its continued commitment to delivering value to shareholders.

Commenting on the results, Aderemi Saka, Managing Director of NASCON Allied Industries Plc, said the performance demonstrated the resilience of the company’s business model and the effectiveness of its strategic execution.

“Our first-half performance demonstrates the resilience of our business model, disciplined execution of strategic priorities, and ability to deliver sustainable growth despite a dynamic operating environment,” Saka said.

She noted that sustained demand across core product categories, continued market penetration initiatives and improved operational discipline helped the company deliver profitability growth ahead of revenue growth.

NASCON’s balance sheet also strengthened during the period, with total assets increasing by 45% to ₦161.6 billion. Cash and cash equivalents rose by 26% to ₦46.1 billion, giving the company flexibility to support growth initiatives, maintain operational resilience and take advantage of emerging opportunities.

Beyond its financial performance, the company achieved a major capital market milestone during the period with its admission into the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) 30 Index following the Exchange’s half-year review of market indices.

The inclusion places NASCON among the thirty most capitalised and liquid companies on the Nigerian Exchange, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s fundamentals, governance standards and long-term growth prospects.

Looking ahead, NASCON said it remains focused on improving operational efficiency, strengthening market leadership, optimising its product portfolio and creating sustainable value for all stakeholders.

The company expressed confidence that its strategic initiatives, strong financial position and dedicated workforce would continue to support profitable growth and long-term shareholder returns in the second half of the year.
