Access to the Dangote Petroleum Refinery public offer has been further expanded, with prospective investors now able to subscribe for shares through participating Moniepoint agents 24 hours a day.
The initiative takes the refinery’s Initial Public Offering closer to millions of Nigerians who routinely use agency banking services, particularly individuals who may not ordinarily transact through conventional subscription channels.
Under the arrangement, prospective investors can visit participating Moniepoint agents at any time of the day to subscribe to the Dangote Petroleum Refinery IPO through the approved process.
The shares are being offered at N525 each, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares, meaning Nigerians can become prospective shareholders in the refinery with an investment of N5,250.
Investors are also permitted to subscribe multiple times, further widening the opportunity for individuals to build their holdings progressively during the offer period.
The introduction of the 24-hour agency channel represents another step towards broadening participation in the offer and lowering some of the practical barriers that could prevent retail investors from accessing the capital market.
Agency banking has become an important part of Nigeria’s financial infrastructure, bringing financial services closer to communities and individuals outside traditional banking and investment channels.
