The burial plans for Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, have been released.
Another veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, announced the burial plans in a statement he released via his Instagram page on Sunday.
Hassan died at about 3pm on Sunday from cancer.
According to available information, he was aged 66.

Kosoko said the remains of the actor would be taken to his hometown, Ilaro in Ogun State on Sunday for the burial scheduled to take place on Monday.
He said: “With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of ALHAJI TAIWO HASSAN, popularly known as OGOGO, who passed away at 3:00 p.m. today Sunday, 23rd August 2026. At 66 years.
“His remains will be taken to his hometown, Ilaro, Ogun State today where the lying-in-state ceremony will take place tomorrow.
“Date: Monday, 24th August 2026
“Time: 11:00 a.m.
“Venue: Pavillon, Ilaro, Ogun State.
“We pray that Almighty Allah grants him eternal rest and gives his family, friends, colleagues and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear this great loss.
“May his soul rest in perfect peace. Ameen.”
