A serving Nigerian Police Inspector, identified as Olowookere Michael, has been caught on video viciously ass@ulting his wife in front of their terrified children for daring to ask for financial support to pay their school fees.
Inspector Olowookere, with AP/No. 312249, is attached to MOPOL 39 Squadron, Osogbo, and hails from Ijero, Ekiti State.
He was seen in the video unleashing a flurry of blows on his wife as their children wailed and begged him to stop beating their mother.
A source within the police command told SaharaReporters: “Information from Zone XI Command Headquarters, Osogbo revealed a video of Inspector Olowookere Michael, a serving police officer, repeatedly beating his wife while the children were seen crying and pleading for him to leave their mother alone.”
The insider added that the incident was triggered after the wife asked for money to pay part of the children’s outstanding school fees.
“According to the report from Zone XI Osogbo, the children had been sent home from school because their third-term exams had begun and fees were not paid.
“When the wife requested for money to assist with the payment, hell broke loose. He descended on her as usual,” the source said.
It was also revealed that the Inspector has a history of domestic abuse and regularly assaults his wife over minor issues, a pattern that has now drawn the attention of police authorities.

This incident is coming amid plans by the Nigerian Police authorities to stop the proposed protests by the police officers to demand for improvement in their payments and pensions.
