Revolution Plus Property, a popular real estate company, has been accused by Nigerians of land allocation fraud.
Customers have been dragging them on social media for failing to allocate lands after full payment since 2019.
However, the company denied the allegations in a statement posted on its Instagram page on Wednesday, adding that the company “was built on integrity and trust.”
The company also stated that it was reviewing customer complaints. It assured all customers that they would be attended to in due course, adding that allocations are usually done in batches.
Mr Bamidele Onalaja, the company’s owner, and his wife have also been accused of threatening and calling customers names after they inquired about when their land would be allocated following the bridge of contract.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) should live up to their responsibility by investigating and ensuring that justice is served for all parties involved in order to set a good example for others in similar trades and not leave room for real estate agents to con Nigerians by convincing and influencing their fans to pay for land without allocation.
Revolution Plus Property and its ilk use celebrities to persuade and influence unsuspecting Nigerians into paying full price for lands with no allocation while using the money to pay for celebrity endorsement.
Broda Shaggi, Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola, Omoni Oboli, and others are among the Revolution Plus celebrity ambassadors.
