In a move aimed at easing fuel costs and promoting cleaner energy distribution, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has slashed the ex-depot (gantry) price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, by ₦30 – from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre. The new pricing takes effect from August 12, 2025.
Reaffirming its commitment to national development, the refinery assured Nigerians of a steady and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products across the country.
As part of its push for sustainable energy solutions, Dangote Petroleum Refinery will commence the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution nationwide. This initiative will officially kick off on August 15, 2025, marking a significant step toward reducing carbon emissions in the oil and gas sector.
