In a resurfaced video clip circulating on social media, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory and former governor of Rivers State, staunchly pledged allegiance to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Addressing his supporters in Port Harcourt, Wike expressed an unwavering commitment never to abandon the PDP, stressing that betraying the party would deny him peace in his life.
The day I disappoint PDP, may I never know peace in my life – Wike
Expelling Wike is a waste of efforts cos who God has cursed, curse him no more.

In the 23-second clip, Wike criticized the defection of former Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said: “I will never leave PDP. I will never disappoint PDP. If I disappoints PDP, I would never have peace in my life. We must learn how to talk the truth. Everything can not be politics. Your credibility and dignity are important in life”.
