Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Godwin Emefiele, has ruled out the possibility of extending the deadline for the swap of the old naira notes with the redesigned ones, despite the cash crunch and hardship inflicted as a result of currency swap and fuel scarcity.
Addressing newsmen in Lagos on Friday, Emefiele said the apex bank has engaged Microfinance banks and 30,000 super agents across the country to help in the circulation.

Emefiele who says the CBN will bridge the gaps observed through the monitoring team.
Recall that eight governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress met with President Muhammadu Buhari over the crisis the new currency swap is generating and the tension in the land.
Buhari, who pleaded with the governors promised to take drastic decisions in the next seven days to resolve the imbroglio.
